Shipping and Receiving

This position is responsible for shipping and receiving all inventory into the warehouse, counting, and stocking the shelves. This person will also be preparing all units for shipment. Should be able to lift 50 lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities Receiving

• Receive parts from UPS, FedEx, or LTL Truck
• Inspect for damage
• Count parts and report data
• Stock parts in appropriate locations throughout the shop

Duties and Responsibilities Shipping

• Build and reinforce pallets that machines ship on
• Pick parts for shiploose kits. Pack and box them.
• Clean finished assembled units, and apply safety stickers and data label
• Use iPod/iPhone to capture phones of the packaged unit and upload
• Use a fork truck to lift units onto pallets.
• Bolt, band, fasten units to pallets
• Wrap unit and ship loose items for final shipment
• Place all necessary shipping labels and warnings on the unit
• Book and Support pickups of each unit
• Provide all paperwork to its respective department after shipping.
• Pick parts for daily parts orders, print labels, and paperwork, and pack parts

Duties and Responsibilities Inventory

• Perform weekly inventory counts
• Assist with monthly parts ordering
• Create and update bin labels and locations

Education and/or Experience

• Ability to use hand tools
• Able to use the computer for basic printing and paperwork functions
• Understand how to read Pick Lists, Work Orders, BOMs, and basic mechanical assembly drawings.
• Willing to work individually or as a team on specific projects
• Confident working under pressure and in fast-paced situations when something needs to ship quickly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

• Inventory control: 2 years (Preferred)
